The original 89er Theatre in Kingfisher was located at 117 N Main.

On March 27, 2004, a fire burned down the one-screen theater.

Following the fire, local investors came together to open a 3-screen theatre at 304 N Main.

In 2025, Zach and Jaryn Buseman purchased the 89er Theatre.
